Frequently Asked Questions

Will files be uploaded to the server?
No. This tool performs PDF detection, password verification, and export locally in your browser. Files and passwords are not uploaded to the server.
Why does it say the password is incorrect?
The most common reason is that you entered something other than the PDF's open password, or the password contains extra spaces. Please confirm and re-enter.
Can all encrypted PDFs be processed?
The first version mainly supports common encrypted PDFs for which you know the correct open password. If the file is corrupted or uses an encryption method not currently supported by the browser runtime, it may fail.
Can PDFs without passwords be used?
Yes, you can upload them, but if no open password is detected in the file, the tool will prompt you directly that password removal is not currently needed.
